Explorations and classes in visual and performing arts including drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, mixed media, video, dance and music.

Lyricism 101:
Lyricism 101 is a new program that intentionally includes proven youth development practices and creative activities that build and expand the literary skills of our teens, while exposing them to the art of hip hop, particularly cipher culture.

MusicMakers:
Ages 6-18: MusicMakers is designed to capitalize on young people’s natural love of music by increasing their appreciation of this art form and building their skills so they can express themselves using guitars, drums and keyboards. Through direction from the music instructor, children receive basic to advanced group and individual lessons. This program helps Club members develop musical skills that are fun, build confidence and might even lead to careers in the performing arts.

Fine Arts Exhibit:
Ages 6-12: Fine Arts enable youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through skill development and the appreciation of the arts. Club members are provided the opportunity to express themselves creatively, build confidence and learn new skills in 10 categories including monochromatic drawing, multicolored drawing, pastel, watercolor, oil/acrylic, print making, mixed media, collage, sculpture and group project. This program also gives Clubs the ability to showcase the artwork of their Club members in the community.

Drama Matters:
Ages 6–12: Drama Matters capitalizes on young people’s love of drama by increasing their appreciation of this art form and building their self confidence, sparking creativity and boosting academic achievement.
